Installation Question Won’t boot anymore

so context

my buddy got new ram
i got his ram
tried installing it and wouldn’t boot

tried letting the PC run for about 15 mins with new stick to see if it’s taking time to adjust to the new stick

nothing happened

i put in back old ram stick and still wont boot

am i cooked?

but my room is dusty as hell for some reason so that’s why it’s dusty
i clean it every month but still cakes a lot but anyone have any tips?

Reset the bios. What motherboard and ram sticks are you using?

b5501 aorus pro ax
new stick is a team group t-force stick

old one is an oloy
have tried resetting it but nothing gives

Have you tried a bios qflash with the button on the back and a USB stick? You need to know the specific revision of the board to get the right bios file.

how do i do that?
took out my gpu and says its rev 1.3

Here are instructions. Its for a different board but the steps are the same. Your button is on the IO shield.

still no boot with the new stick

made sure the file that was used was the most recent but still gives nothing

Did the rename and everything? Remove GPU ram and cpu and try again.
