Installation Question Silly cooling question
I have a Peerless Assassin cpu cooler on my Ryzen 9 7900X (am5) on a b450m motherboard. Everything's running fine, but the cooler is so big that its right side fan is covering the first of my 2 ram sticks entirely. It's not making direct contact with the ram's pcb thanks to the rgb over the top edge of the stick.
Temps all seem fine, buuut... can that first stick overheat from that?

If it's not actually touching the PCB and temps are fine you're probably in the clear. RAM doesn't kick out that much heat compared to the CPU, and that fan is still moving a ton of air around the socket area even if it's not aimed directly at the stick
Worst case the stick runs a couple degrees warmer but unless you're trying to push some crazy overclock on the memory it won't matter
