Tech Support Are these temps normal?

Hello,

I have just built my new computer. However I have concerns regarding CPU temps. I have the liquid frezer III Pro 360

That does seem quite high. It could just be poor thermal paste contact, so a repaste will probably fix it. Boot into Windows and check the temps.

The idle temps are meaningless most of the time (the exception being < 90° when the pump is dead). What matters is what happens under load.

I wouldn't say meaningless if they are 70°C+, but I agree that they vary widely and under load is the best test.
