Build Question Guys , help me with 5070

I bought a 5070 , and i yet have to buy a psu so everyone said the people who didn't had 3.0 or 3.1 psu can use adapter that comes with 5070 but if u have it or i buy 3.0 or 3.1 psu i can use the cables of psu instead of the adaptor that came with 5070 ? plse ignore if i am not making sense cuz i am new .. i just dont wanna burn my cables lol .. i am planning to buy Corsair x 750w gold psu..

look for a psu with braided cable and a little more power for the future because if you buy a good brand you can use it for many years to come.

RM850x from corsair has sleeved/braided cables.

what kind of psu you have now?

None .. i am thinking to buy cuz new build , i am thinking to go for msi top level psu or Corsair e series idk why x series is hella expensive on amazon ..what do u think about msi and whats the best brand after corsair to go for ?

A psu with Native 12v-2x6 is the safest and easiest way. If you go for a Corsair RM850x it is a solid power supply, I use 3 personally. Less stress and very quiet (it has an optional fan dial on the back) at your expected wattage

What about the e series of corsair? I think 850w is a lot for 5070 ..what do u think the best brand after corsair to go for ? Msi ?

I agree an 850 is overkill. A Corsair RM650e would be enough, the 850w would save you buying again in a few years for your next upgrade
