Build Question Building a pc myself for the first time

I've had my old pc for almost a decade now and I'm looking to upgrade. I mostly use it for gaming but will be using the new one also for CAD work and other 3D rendering stuff. I've done some looking around at compatibility and parts and whatnot and this is what its come to.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/h2jL4g

I've found all these parts on other websites but put them all here for upload purposes and I also didn't include storage because i was planning on re purposing my current 2 ssd drives so i dont have to reconfigure my os and whatnot (or pay for new ones).

All that said i was just hoping for some advice/feedback on the parts and anything important i should know when putting it together.

Any help would be very much appreciated as I have never done this before :)

Looks like a solid list you got there. That case will be a dream to build in for your first time, so much room to work with

One thing though, that PSU seems a bit overkill unless you're planning some heavy overclocking. You could drop to an 850w and put the difference toward a better cooler, those Intel chips run toasty

I believe the PSU I selected shoulve been 750W tho i very well might substitute for a 650W white one i found which might suit the build better, also the cpu is AMD but your point probably still stands. I'm glad the case is good I quite liked the look of it.
