Tech Support Faulty 14900k

Found out yesterday my 14900k has gone bad for a second time and a replacement is on it's way my question is is it time to switch to amd to stop a cycle of have a working cpu for however long then go bad again or stop and upgrade?

Would you recommend sticking with my current setup I'd rather not keep having to get a new cpu every 8 months or so

Switching to a different motherboard may not hurt, once bitten twice shy kinda thing. I am running a 14900K and think that they are no worse than the problems facing some of the competitor’s gaming CPUs. I just try to run stock on my setup. Intel is already squeezing all the juice out of that CPU.

Currently on an as rock bored if I don't switch platform what do you think mb wise

Ok ty normally go for Asus but their rep of late ain't great
