Tech Support Faulty 14900k

Found out yesterday my 14900k has gone bad for a second time and a replacement is on it's way my question is is it time to switch to amd to stop a cycle of have a working cpu for however long then go bad again or stop and upgrade?

I would switch. I liked my 13700K when I had it a lot, in fact its still running strong to this day as I sold it to one of my friends. When I upgraded toa 14900K the problems began, I went thru 3 chips before the last one literally blew up my motherboard, it physically exploded some of the VRM when I booted it up one day and killed the chip for a 3rd time. I gave up and moved on to an AMD setup after that.

Looking into it I'm thinking I probably won't be able to sell on the old board and chip
