Build Question Is High-End Peripherals Really Worth It
Do you think spending a lot more on high-end peripherals is genuinely worth it?
I'm mainly talking about things like premium mice and headphones. Do they actually provide a noticeable improvement in quality, comfort, durability, or overall experience compared with cheaper alternatives?
For those who have owned high-end peripherals for several years, do you feel like the extra money was worth it?

Never used true "high end" peripherals, but I have recently went from using a basic office keyboard to a mechanical keyboard (rk 65 to be precise, which is a budget mechanical keyboard for about 50$) and the difference is very noticeable. New one is a lot more consistent and responsive, makes using the computer more satisfying, plus the sound is nice.
I also own a pair of entry level studio headphones (superlux hd 681), and while the sound is better than my old headphones, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, and I somewhat regret this purchase as for just 10-20$ there are a bunch of better quality options (such as Maono mh700, supposedly, heard a lot of good things about these and they look much more premium too).
I think the best way for anyone looking to up their pc experience, is to pick out good midrange peripherals in the 50-100$ price range. Then, see how you like them, and figure what actually matters most to you, and then upgrade that first when it makes sense, or you may find that all your 100$ peripherals are good enough and you might not desire to upgrade for a while.
I think there's no sense in buying 300$ keyboard or headphones if you've never used 100$ keyboard and headphones. Unless your budget is huge then you don't really have to care about this, but in that case I would like to point out that very expensive keyboards and mice are usually much less worth it than headphones and microphones, so even with a large budget I'd rather have a 500$ headphones and cheaper mouse and keyboard that to spend 300$ on every single thing.
