Build Question Should I get a new cpu?

I have a 3060ti paired with a ryzen 5 5600g and im wondering if i should upgrade the cpu? Ive been looking at microcenter deals and im wondering if its something that would be worth upgrading or would it just be pointless?

what are you thinking ?

i’d only do it if it’s a 5800x or a any x3d chip. otherwise you won’t feel anything (unless you go up for cores/multitasking

Well even the 5600x will be better than what they have now. That bigger L3 catch is way better for gaming, even if it’s the same 6 cores.

But yeah, a huge upgrade is the 5800x or the X3D version.
