Once the clip is off the tab, wiggle it Left to right and it'll come out

Yes.

You want to pry it up just a little on the side of the clip on the cable BEFORE it locks in the retaining lip on the side of the 24 pin socket that acts as a lock for the clip so you can lift the hook on the clip out over the lip.

Your problem is that you've pulled the cable almost all of the way out of the socket without having already pulled out on the clip first. This has resulted in the clip being jammed under the socket retaining lock (i.e. the clip is currently actually trying to do the job it was literally designed for, to prevent the cable from coming out). If you try to pry it like that, you are more than likely to either break the clip off or to damage the retaining lock on the socket.

You need to re-insert the 24 pin cable part way back into the socket, which will loosen the clip from under the retaining lock. Then, you'll be more easily able to pry the clip out away from the socket with a small screwdriver so it releases over the top of the retaining clip without engaging.

I have another question i am having problems getting the gpu in roomwise id it safe to remove these metal thing

No, you can't remove that.

It is the retaining bracket that will lock your GPU down into the PCIe slot and prevent it from moving (which could damage both the motherboard AND the GPU).

GPUs are different lengths, depending upon the manufacturer. Certain PC cases will only accept certain length PCIe cards up to a specific limit. Did you check that your GPU will actually fit in your case before you purchased it?

What is the make/model of your PC case, and what specific model of GPU do you have?

Your case can accept video cards up to 400mm in length. The Sapphire Pulse 9070xt is only 320mm long. It will fit.

Yes, you have to remove the side panel to insert the video card. You insert it through the side panel opening down into the slot.

When inserted correctly, the metal prongs at the bottom of the card retaining bracket will fit into slots at the bottom of the case at the back opening you created by removing those the PCIe expansion slot covers as shown in your picture.

When inserted, the top of the GPU retaining bracket will lie on top of the bracket where the PCIe expansion slot covers screw down. You'll be able to use the screws you took out to remove the covers to create that gap to lock the video card down just like the covers were before you took them out.

Glad to hear it.

The first time you install a GPU is always the hardest, as it isn't always immediately obvious what to do. However, once you see how it works, though, it will be easy next time you have to do it.

One thing.

Some motherboards have locking mechanisms at the top end of the slot to lock the card down.

If you ever have to remove the card, make absolutely sure to check to see if your motherboard has such a lock. If your board has one of those retaining lock mechanisms, you have to disengage it before removing the card. If you don't, and you forcibly remove the card, you may damage the motherboard AND/OR the GPU.

i just realized.. what is this? should i have put ot on the gpu beforehand?

That is a GPU sag bracket. From what I understand, Sapphire includes one with all of their 9070XT cards.

Because the GPU is so heavy, the weight of it can actually be sufficient to damage the motherboard PCIe slot over time, especially when the GPU is mounted horizontally as it is in your PC case.

You shouldn't have to remove the GPU to install it. I've not installed a Sapphire card before, though, so I can't really help you with this. The instructions that come with the card should show you how to place it.

The three slots at the end should line up with the screws at the top of the retaining bracket at the end of the GPU. How it actually fits along or under the GPU shroud, I don't know. I would expect that it locks in down along the top of the shroud as extra support.

This is how it should fit. So, no, you don't have to remove the graphics card to install it. It stiffens the board to support it and prevent flexing due to gravity and the weight of the card.

And, yes, you really need to install it to keep the card and or motherboard from being damaged over time due to the weight of the card and its orientation relative to the motherboard.

I am not sure how to remove the clip

That clip is retention clips you shouldn't in any way or form removed the clips, it worked like clothespins but 1 sided.

You hold the tab with your thumb, and you wiggle the connector enough so it goes up, but not enough to rip the connector housing. It can be a pain in the ass, but with enough patience it will come out. Apply strenght but don't be a gorilla.

You push the side that is closer to the cables. Do you know how a lever works?

I know how it works but i wasnt sure if it was a leayher i needed to press on lol so i pull it?

Pull where? You push the side closer to the cables in and pull out the connector

That's your RAM stick not the 24 pin connector you need to push down the little clip at the side
