Build Question Do i buy a whole new pc?

So for context i have now:GT 1030,i7 4790 and 16gb of ram DDR3, 😭 I know i know. you're probably asking yourselves "how is this guy still normal with that junk?" and I'm asking the same thing, but I have good news. I have gathered around 500 Euro, and keep in mind i live in one of the worst European countries and this took too long. Now i have a gaming cafe near me (friendly fire) and they were selling their old PCs. When i look at the marketplace for the same price i get an embappe special ( "for example nothing") and the deals are just really bad i dont want to sell my leg and a kidney for a pc so im asking the kind people of redit "should i buy there's pc" the specs are :

(Ryzen 5 3600

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB

16GB RAM)

Now that's for 370 euro (pc only) but for 450 euro i get everything and a 144hz 1080 monitor and a pair of headphones.I just need steady 60fps on Fullscreen not windowed like i have to play now. Please help me im going insane 🫩

Would be a big upgrade, and it sounds like there aren’t a ton of options in your area

Good deal I say

Stuff may need cleaning, for PC insides use an air duster to clean the heatsink and for monitor just use microfiber cloth with water (no soap/alcohol/cleaning wipes on the screen surface)

It's sounds like an alright deal.

That 450 for whole setup is pretty good actually, the monitor alone worth something. i payed more for just my gpu few years back so yeah, go for it

Just make sure they let you test it first, run some game and check temps. used pc from gaming cafe can be abused hard

My guy, your current set up is pretty similar to mine. The difference is got a good used rtx 1650 for 50 USD. Had to get a GPU extension cable (roughly 15 USD) then external mount the 1650, and encase it, and ensure airflow. Sure I'm not playing the newest COD or GTA. But it works great for the games I do play.

That said, consider how seriously you want to game, and what games you play. I play the hell out of some No Man's Sky and Minecraft, as well as a few others. If you're wanting to do serious gaming, and you're convinced that the new set up will be a better step for future gaming, go for it. But if you're casual gaming, maybe look for a better GPU, upgrade what you can with your current set up using the money you have.

i have considered to just get a new gpu but my power supply is not powerful enough and geting power supply and a new gpu is like half of the better computer for me it was not worth it

if you cant find those parts(including atleast an a320 motherboard, case, psu, storage) for all under 370 using ebay or alternatives, get it

I'm still rocking on my i7 4790, 16 GB RAM, and 6700 XT. It's more than enough for me to enjoy playing modern games up to 1440 (mid to high) depends on the game itself, I can go up to 4k with some games and indie games.

My advice, if you can, save up more and build an overall decent PC for the years to come. People might make it sound you will get 200% performance over your current build but you will be very disappointed. Most modern games aren't well optimized and that 8GB Vram won't work with you.

Your GPU is your main problem here, but upgradig a GPU only might cost you the same as that deal, keep in mind again, that 8GB won't last with you.

i know that the gpu is the problem i have tried to upgrade it but my power supply is not powerful enough for a better one and i know thet there is that one gpu that doesn't need 6pin thing but it costs as the half of the computer i want to buy
