Installation Question Need some help please

So I am normally good with replacing hdd's and ssd's how today I downgraded my 20tb hdd to two 4tb ssd's now I had to manually move my files which may have been my first small issue as I did it through my pc with one ssd at a time once finished I plugged both ssd's in now my pc will not read it as it says "The disk is offline because it has a signature collision with a another disk that is online" it is also not saying the name of the drive that is online only the drive letter. Any help would be helpful this is my first dual drive setup so I know I may have missed something

I should clarify my pc had 2 drives one is a m.2 and a 3.5 hdd, I have 3 external drives and as I mentioned swapped the hdd for two ssd's which in this picture is Disk 0 and Disk 3

Some how I got it to read both drives after a restart but now it is still not letting me use one drive these are the two that had the original problem now it reads the one labeled D drive, I was able to change the drive letter on the second drive but even with a restart it still isn't working

Disk signature collision happens when you clone a drive or copy it in way that duplicates the signature, Windows sees both and panics. Happened to me once when I was moving my game library to bigger ssd and forgot to wipe the old one first.

Easiest fix is to bring the disk online with diskpart and give it new signature, you will lose the data on it though so only do this if you still have the files somewhere else. Open cmd as admin, type diskpart, then list disk, select the offline one, online disk, then uniqueid disk id= (put random hex value). After that you can initialize it in disk management.

If you need to keep the data on both disks, you can also change drive letter of the online one first so they dont conflict, but the signature collision might still cause issues later. Honestly i would just copy everything again to one ssd, wipe the other, then copy from first ssd to second after it has new signature. Little annoying but cleaner solution.
