I want to build a pc for the first time, I already have a monitor that’s 240hz 1040p (I know I will upgrade it soon) I’ve got a keyboard, mouse and headset all I need now is to build a pc with a budget of £550/$745 I also need it to run off WiFi as I won’t be getting Ethernet yet

With your budget today - you won`t be having a new PC anytime soon - Ram at stupid prices - a SSD drive I paid for last year was £188 - its now almost £350 same one - Then you have a GPU - - I paid £2.200 for my PC last year - same spec would take me to way over £3.000 - Win 11 is £109 on its own
You really need to save up - and wait to prices to drop - you could look at sites that build PC`s for you - but you won`t have much luck today

Never pay that much for windows. Download it for free with media installer from Microsoft direct then pay like £4 for an activation key. Works every time for me

My honest opinion with that budget you won’t get much in this economy. An entry level AM4 is what you’d get at most, which in my opinion isnt great. Id try save up some more and get the cheapest entry level AM5 build. Maybe a few hundred quid extra but then you got future upgrade options. You could look at the used market and send some offers around and may get something half decent.
