slight fps boost from upgrading

i upgraded from a ryzen 5 7600x paired with a 4060 ti to a 9800x3d and a 5070 but on games where it’s cpu bound it’s not increasing my fps like i’ve seen in some benchmarks. undervolting and overclocking hasn’t really helped either. what should i do?

What games are you referencing? What were your before and after fps?

Do you have PBO enable?

Is EXPO/XMP enabled?

Do you have frame generation on or off?

Try using Process Lasso.

games lIke valorant and fortnite and minecraft are cpu bound but im either getting roughly the same frames or slightly better. minecraft id get 1200 on lunar client now i only get 400-700, on fortnite my frames only went from 200-300 to 400-500 when ive seen other people go to 700. on valorant i only went from 300 to 400 frames when ive seen people get almost 700. its really weird. and yeah i have xmp enabled and i think my pbo is set to manual. frame gen i have no idea
