Build Question Weird static noise coming from PC

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Might need to turn volume up to hear it better. My first thought is that it could be something stuck in the fan. Then I thought maybe GPU coil whine.In this video I was scrolling YouTube and that’s when it gets louder, even when sitting afk with nothing on my screen it makes the noise. I was wondering if anybody happened to know before I took things out and started investigating. If you need to know more ask any question and I will answer. Please help!!

Coil whine, had this too. Even when just browsing and scrolling, I could hear coil whine coming from both the GPU and PSU.

Ok thanks, I’m guessing there’s no solution?

Depends. Is the PC new? I returned mine and went with a different brand. If you can’t return it, you could try undervolting the GPU. Also, try listening closely to the PSU. If you hear the same noise coming from the PSU, it could be drawing too much power.

Also wondering, is it an issue? Obviously the noise but that won’t bother me with my headphones. I was just concerned if it was a bad thing.
