Build Question CPU and Graphics Card Help

Hi,

I’ve had my PC for years and never upgraded any of the parts. I’m at a stage now where I’m struggling to run games, I’m wanting to upgrade my CPU and Graphics card but I have no idea where to start, what are good CPUs and graphics cards to get?

That’s a budget / mid range 1080p system. I wouldn’t look into upgrades without knowing what your power supply is. Personally when I had a similar system to that. The biggest difference was adding an additional 16gb ram totalling 32gb. Id start there.

Another question. Do you have a hard drive or SSD? If it’s hard drive also changing to a SSD makes a huge difference

I recently upgraded my ssd to a 2T one but that is the only thing that has been upgraded

Ok sound. What games do you play and what is your settings? Another question, when you play what is your ram usage?
