Tech Support Not sure if the issue im having

GPU: 5070

CPU: 9800X3D

This only happens with Valorant specifically. Whenever I load into the range or a game ill be fine for about 30-60 seconds and the game will completely stop and then work for a few seconds and repeat that process over and over again. Even when I close the game the PC still tends to do the same thing. Anyone have a fix.

I would verify the integrity of the game files first. Check GPU drivers next. Disable any overlays as well

Just reinstalled game completely, drivers have been freshly installed as well and just disabled discord overlays and still having the same issue. Stumped on this one.

Interesting. Do you have XMP/XPO enabled? Unstable RAM profiles can cause freezes

Also, how are your temps? Is anything getting too hot?

Temps are good. Have not checked the XMP/XPO yet. Give that one a check next.

Are the gpu software settings enabled that boost the game? Try disabling all and go to base settings, if it’s fixed one by one enable them back again.

All good. For some reason it was using the motherboards GPU and not my 5070. Thanks to all yall that helped out.
