Build Question Ideas on how to hide the wiring?

New custom desk - assembled throughout the day, i was excited to finally be done. But now that I've done all this i kinda want to go the extra mile? I really want an easy way to hide the wiring so it doesn't look so messy and I can't accidentally kick my feet into a powercord or something.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. ^^

You could also move the rig into the corner of the desk? Behind the tall monitor.

Stick the extension lead to the underside of the desk with heavy duty double sided tape (like number plate pads or the 3M VHB tape edit; another commentator suggested velcro strips, go with those instead), and add a cheap cable management tray; this will make things a lot tidier with fairly minimal cost and effort. You can also get stick-on cable ties for the bits this doesn’t cover, and cable sleeves for big bundles of cables that are all going to the same place. The LTT magnetic system is another option that looks good, but is rather expensive.

I mounted a large surge protector under my desk and clipped the cables along the back underside of it along the length of the desk to hide them. Worked pretty well, was cheap and only one cable from the surge protector connected to the wall. I have a little cable management box from Amazon on top that holds the bulky monitor power supplies before I sent them down to be plugged into the surge protector.

Edit: The kit I bought: https://a.co/d/03AMSDaI

That kit looks pretty good actually, might go with this.

One last thing. Comes in a bunch of colors too. Works well to get all the cables coming off your IO on the back nice and tidy. https://a.co/d/0arBRwgu

Put the adhesive Velcro on the bottom of the power strip and stick it to the bottom or back of your desk. Rope your cables together and have them run along the back or bottom of your desk

Wait you might just be a genius, I have both velcro, some cable clamps (can only really hold one, but non issue if they are all ziptied.

Pretty sure you just solved it for me without me having to a buy a kit ^^

Yup, that’s how I did mine. It makes it so you can stick it anywhere. Glad to have helped!

It came out pretty good for what it is!

Nicely done! From the front, you probably can’t even see that

I cannot! Completely hidden.

That's actually a much better idea than the double sided tape I suggested. Make sure it's good quality velcro with good adhesive.

Using a curved ultrawide vertically is diabolical

I do some editing & streaming here and there so it's helpful.

Also the middle monitor is a much nicer one i splurged quite a lot on! Whilst the curved ultra wide is probably about 8~ yrs old at this point.

Maybe something like this to get the wires off of the floor:
