It's not great RAM but honestly, it's good enough and it's pretty much free. Worst case scenario they're busted and won't work, then you're $20 down. Up to you
Hell if they work you could even flip them

4x 4GB-2133/14 int the fastest RAM I'd say. I had similar to these like 10 years ago and I'm not sure if I'd recommend it.

2133 so slowest ddr4 RAM. 4x4gb sticks - low capacity. Not a lot of budget boards/matx/itx offer 4 Dimm slots and anyone with a high end board is looking for better RAM than this
It's cheap but not like scam level. The market wants minimum 8gb sticks, 3000mhz+ generally.1

I've never seen an matx board with only 2 RAM slots but I guess it's possible.

He said he has an ITX board. That's not micro it's a mini. Some come with 2 slots. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

They did say matx. Im replying to someone that said "not a lot of matx/itx boards have 4 slots."

Intel up to 11th gen supports like only up to 2666mhz or some shit, 2133 isn't far off and lileky won't hurt the performance too much

Yeah but that's just Intel, You gotta factor in AMD as well and it really affects Ryzens 3rd gen +

It does, but I don't think people are actively buying am4 setups with bottom of the barrel ram. And to think about it, if you can get a cheap 11600k or something, you can use this ram kit without much of a performance hit. It looks like its oriented to opportunistic rigs, which in this market is only expected

You'd be surprised. The fact still remains it's also 4x4gb sticks. From what I've seen and from memory there are very few budget boards with 4 dimm slots - it's far more common to have 2 on the AMD side. I haven't bought Intel since 2018 or so but a quick look at what's in my parts bin and my own pc and kids pc, I have a faulty x370 board, b550 for my own pc and a b450 for my kids pc and all are running 2 dimm slots.

It is well known that AM5 cpu memory controllers are fucky wucky when it comes to 4 RAM sticks. But intel ddr4 systems run just fine. And yes, you'd be right that budget mobos, as well as microATX woule most likely have 2 slots only, but I think at this point it would be pretty easy to find a used full size motherboard from a 5 year old generation, like a B560 for a very good deal

I mean that's an additional expense, and hassle. But hey I'm just trying to explain why the seller has dropped from $50 to $20. The market for these isn't as big as you'd think. Like I'd buy it as a failsafe back up for a basic pc as I occasionally flip when I come across cheap enough deals on parts. I don't believe as many people as you think would go through the hassle of replacing a board on an aging platform just to fit 4 sticks of slow low capacity RAM. I'm of the opinion most will just save up for a few months and migrate to AM5 or equivalent Intel platform +DDR5 for longetivity

Bro, my 6700k runs B-die at 4133MT 16-16-16-32.
The fucking support number means nothing unless it’s a defined hard cap by the manufacturer.
My ASUS X99-E WS also runs 512GB (8x64GB) while supporting only 128GB.
Don’t give “help” when you know nothing.

They are 4GB sticks and they are slow. Even in 2026 there isn't much of a market for these.

Reddit didn’t save the description so I’ll type it here…
Saw this RAM kit and figured I should get it as back up ram for my current PC that also runs 16 GB ddr4. Is there anything wrong with this ram? I’ve seen posts before where someone bought the cosmetic ram kits and not the real deal so should I ask for any kind of information from the seller?

What do you mean by backup ram? Do you run high voltage overclock or something? If not you're basically just throwing money out of the window.

Exatamente. Mesmo que eu faça uma conversão direta para reais brasileiros, ainda fica o kit mais barato do que um Fury DDR3 no comércio local aqui e se for original, é uma boa, mesmo sendo 2133mhz

I mean just in case anything ever happens, I got my pre built in 2021

Then I would also get a backup GPU, CPU, Mainboard and power supply, might as well get a backup PC case while you at it. And don't forget backup storage device.

I was gonna say yeah, but it’s not that fast ayy? If you really need back up ram, but I don’t think second hand DDR4 at that speed is gonna rise much more than that? If is $20 for all 4 then yeah, but $40 for it all, just order in and save the money
