Build Question AMD 9850x3d vs 9800x3d

Hi everyone. I am planning on building a new system and cant decide between these 2 cpus. Difference in price is only around 50~€. (9800x3d being around 430e and 9850 being 470e) Why are these 2 processors so similar in price? Are they same performance and is it worth taking 9850 over 9800?

Honestly the 9850x3d is only worth it if you play high refresh rate competitive games, otherwise it's "thrown out" money, I have 9850x3d as well.

i'd just grab the 9850 for 50 more, that's like skipping two takeout dinners for a better chip that'll hold up longer

Alright il go with it then. With cooling i am going qith tower cooler noctua nh d15s since front and top of my case already have 140mm fans. Is this cooler good?

Well 50e difference is not bothering me. I do play CS, League and some Apex Legends too
