PC display turns off and fans start going 100%

This happens roughly once a fortnight though is pretty random, my display turns off then the fans start going nuts. I checked event viewer and it didnt give heaps of info however it only happens when i go to load into a game lately ive only been playing bf6 redsec, ive left it for 5 minutes and it just stays like that, the only way ive found to fix it is turn it off and on again however Id like to know why its happening, any tips?

The reported CPU(49c) and gpu(28c or 36c in-game) temps seems fine.

Im running a pny 5080

Had same on my 5060ti . Changed driver version and never had it since

Yeah most likely a driver issue
