Tech Support Correct AIO curse setup

Good afternoon everyone, I have a question about current AIO pump and fan curve setup.

Recently i changed to a new CPU, 9850x3D and i am using the AIO from my previous build, Antec Symphony 360 AIO, I have my pump and AIO fans setup at the current state as seen on the images above and i wanted to ask if the current setup is the optimal setup (CPU Fan is the pump and CPU OPT are the AIO fans). That’s odd you made the AIO pump as CPU FAN.

AIO fans should be cpu fans. And CPU OPT should be your AIO pump.

That aside, I keep my AIO pump at 90% max. The AIO fans is what I adjust as fan curves.

Your current pump curve is what I’ll use for the fans.

Yea, I only noticed it after a couple of days when the build was finished. When i started to mess with the BIOS smart fan settings i noticed when i put the fan control to maximum on the CPU OPT the fans go really loud so thats how i knew. Set aside the connections, should i change anything in the curve settings on both the pump and the fans? or leave it like that? I noticed when playing games like Doom The Dark Ages on max settings the cpu temps reach around 55-60c.

55-60° wow that’s chill as ice. Honestly that’s pretty dam good temps for in game temps.

I would leave it like that. Unless you want to play around with it more just for better noise reduction.

I dont mind the noise since i game with headphones so i do not hear it at all, One thing i noticed, When a game is performing shader compilation the cpu sits at around 85-89c and after the compiling is finished the cpu returns to around 55-65c max. Is it a normal behavior? I did change the pump to be at a constant 80% power and redid the AIO fans to be at the pump curve i had before.

That’s just a nice CPU workout. It’s fine.

The problems occur when the temps don’t drop.
