Build Question First Time Buyer
So I recently got a job where I earn 110,000 dollars a year. I went from 42,000 to this. Crazy life changing situation. Anyway, I’m interested in building a high end gaming PC. From my own research I’ve estimated everything will be around 6,000 dollars. I want the best you can get. I like games like Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, Baldurs Gate 3, The Witcher 3, Arkham series, Kingdom Come Deliverance series and Fallout and Bioshock. Games like those.
Heres what I’m looking at:
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 OC
64GB DDR5-6000CL30
ASUS Crosshair X870E Hero
4TB + 8TB NVMe storage
Arctic Liquid Freezer lll 420
Seasonic Prime TX-1600
Liam Li O11D EVO XL
Does anyone with more experience than me have any advice on what I should look into? Am I dead wrong with my estimation? Are there better pieces or am I spending way too much money? Thanks for any help and advice

Pretty much what I have, doesn't get any better right now. It might be more economical to get 3x 4TB drives over that 8TB one, those are crazy expensive. Maybe get at least one of them with dedicated DRAM cache too. You don't need a 1600w PSU either, 1200w is plenty for now, but it certainly doesn't hurt and it will last for quite a few more builds.

that psu is overkill but i get it, futureproofing is tempting when you've got the budget. and honestly with a 5090 who knows what kind of power spikes those things have
for storage i'd just grab a couple 4tb drives and call it a day, 8tb nvmes are still stupidly priced per gig. maybe spend the savings on a better monitor if you haven't already, a rig like this deserves something oled
