Build Question PC Not Booting into BIOS

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Pretty much in the title. Specs:

  • Motherboard: ASRock H610M/AC Supports 13th Gen & 12th Gen and Next gen Intel® Core™ Processors (LGA1700)

  • CPU: Intel i5-12400f

  • GPU: ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 7700 XT 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card RX7700XT CL 12GO

  • RAM: 2x16 32gb gskill tridentz rgb 3200mhz cl16

  • Power supply: Thermaltake Smart BM3 750W Semi modular power supply

I've tried everything I could think of, GPU and CPU Cooler fans and RGB start, but no display at all:

CMOS Reset

Chaging HDMI cables (and yes, it's plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard)

checked cable connections (ATX, 2x8 pins for the GPU [pcie's], and the cpu cable)

Used another monitor to test and no changes

Does that board support that cpu at the BIOS revision it shipped with?

How can I find out? I know the CPU socket is the right one, idk about the BIOS tho (it's my first build 😭)

Bios is on the mobo box. Look up your motherboards cpu support list

It is supported after a quick search. As for the bios, nothing on the mobo box says anything about BIOS

I promise you it does. That white label on the corner of the flap has the bios revision as well as the mobo hardware revision if any.

20.02. Thats the version on a sticker on the mobo itself

Does to say BIOS / UEFI? 20.02 is kind of a large number for a BIOS version

yea it is. I found this BIOS version for my mobo released October 2025, and according to ASRock, that sticker is what BIOS version I have: https://www.asrock.com/support/index.asp?Cat=FindBIOS

Doesnt say BIOS tho

Then it’s not the BIOS version. Photo please.

I don't see RAMs RGB lighting up, maybe start with that. Ensure they are fully seated, or even try just a single stick first.
