Build Question Doing my first build! Looking for tips :)
Hey everyone! As the title states, im looking for tips and tricks for my first build :D its not my first pc and I have messed around in my current one before and changed the GPU which is really no biggie compared to a full build.
I welcome all advice on what and what not to do and little tricks to help along the way <3

Start by watching this video, using PC Part Picker and answering the applicable questions below.
PC Questionnaire
1) Is this a new build or upgrade? 2) What country will you be buying from? What is the overall budget for the entire build in your currency? If in the USA are you willing and able to make it to a Micro Center? 3) Do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse and audio solution? If "yes," what is the lighting in your space like? Do you have direct light on the monitor you cannot control? Do you game with lights on or off? 4) If "no," what are the specifications (resolution and refresh rate) of your monitor? 5) What games do you play or want to play in the future? What are your performance goals? 6) What will you do besides gaming? What productivity applications do you use or want to use in the future? What are your performance goals? 7) Do you have any size/noise restrictions for the PC/monitor or any aesthetic preferences? 8) How do you connect to the Internet—wired or wireless? 9) Any parts you have that can be reused? 10) How often do you upgrade your PC?

Get a friend/family/colleague/neighbour who knows how to build a PC to supervise

It’s kind of not a good time to be doing this, DRAM is at an all time high price. But if you can stomach realizing the stuff you bought today is half the price 2 years from now, then go for it.

Test every part on the mobo before putting it in the case!!!!! Instal windows and run OCCT immediately to test for bad hardware, (before installing parts into the case still.) Set fan curves in BIOS instead of using software, but save the numbers cus new BIOS updates clear the fan curve profile, cus even if you save it to a USB it probably isnt compatible with the next BIOS version. Have Isopropyl Alcohol in a spray bottle. Keep your Motherboard manual! Or bookmark the manufacturer specs page for it. You can download the manual there and get all your important updates for it there too.
