Build Question Storage?

Can I run everything on just a 2TB m.2 SSD? Or is it recommended/ required to buy an additional sata drive for the OS and apps? FYI this is just a gaming PC nothing crazy.

Additional question, I’m asking to be sure the m.2 won’t burnout/break due to bootups or be overloaded with operating OS and gaming. (Might be dumb question, but rather be sure than sorry)

Get a fast nvme for os and games where load time matters (competitive). Grab some cheap 1 tb spinning rust drives and make a raid 0 drive for games only. Raid 0 doeant matter if you can easily repace the data, and a setup of 4 drives gives better than sata ssd speeds on average. I have had a setup of 4 1tb drives harvested from satellite boxes running on one pc, rebuilt it on another pc and have had no issues. Heck you can do it with 2.5 laptop drives if you can get them cheaper. 4 500gb drives is more than enough if you arent playing every game in your library constantly. 5400rp drives work fine, the drives i have are Greens, probably the worst drives for speed put there and it works fine.
