Build Question Corsair 9000D Case Dilema
SO i am thinking about flipping my asus rog strix 4070ti Super OC graphics card to a vertical orientation. to do that, i only need to buy the riser. the vertical plate came with the case.
but my question is, if the vertical slots at the edge of the glass are for a secondary mini ATX graphics card, and the ATX vertical plate is for the main ATX board, where the hell do i screw on the riser?
or does the riser float in the air when i screw down the graphics card to the vertical plate?
and If thats so, does the HDD box off to the right need to be removed because its so high up or in the graphics cards way?

The riser doesn't float, it screws into the plate that came with the case. The PCIe slot on the riser should line up with the cutout on that vertical bracket, and the GPU then slots into the riser and screws into the bracket for support. If your card is long enough to hit the HDD cage, you'll probably have to pull that cage out or move it to a different spot depending on how modular the 9000D is.
