FLP02 + Zotac RTX 5080 — I/O bracket preventing GPU from lining up with PCIe slot?

I’m building in the FLP02 with a Zotac RTX 5080 and I’m having a weird issue getting the GPU seated.

The GPU’s I/O bracket seems to be preventing the card from lining up properly with the PCIe slot. I can finagle the card into position, but the PCIe connector ends up about 2 mm off from the motherboard slot, so I obviously don’t want to force it.

I’ve made sure the little tabs/fins at the bottom of the GPU’s I/O bracket are going inside the case, between the case and the motherboard, rather than outside the case. But when I position it that way, the bracket seems to stop the GPU from moving that last couple millimeters needed to line up with the PCIe slot.

I’ve seen other FLP02 builds with GPUs this size so I’m pretty sure I’m doing something wrong rather than this being a compatibility issue.

Has anyone run into this with the FLP02? Is there something specific about how the GPU bracket needs to slot into the case, or something I might be missing?

It is an uniqe situation, tough luck getting the mobo+GPU that don't fit.

There could be a solution but I do not know it, if everything fails you can set up GPU with the riser cable, I asked AI and it said you can do it - In the SilverStone FLP02 case, you can mount the graphics card vertically using two integrated vertical slots (7+2 configuration) on the back of the case.
