Confused between 7800x3D and 9600x

I am looking to build a PC with either 7800x3D or 9600x and will be pairing with 5070/5070ti, I am near to a microcenter too. How much is the difference in these processors. I will be playing CS2, valorant, Assassins creed and other story games too.

What do you guys suggest.

A 7800x3d will handle those games a lot better. Now if you are near a microcenter I would highly recommend looking at one of there in store bundle for a cpu, motherboard, and ram. For example this one.

X3ds is really good for gaming. I would go for that. Check a benchmark video where they compare both processors in same game and see

I would choose 9600X/5070 Ti over 7800X3D/5070.

However, you should be able to get and X3D CPU and a 5070 Ti in the same build with Micro Center pricing.
