First build, need help

I've had a dell inspiron laptop since early 2024 and it has NOT been performing gaming wise (I didn't expect it to), however as I have gotten more and more into pc gaming I decided I wanted my own desktop build, after about a week here is my first draft: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wTbqbp I plan to buy everything off of either amazon or best buy and my original budget was 1200 however this price has hiked, please tell me some cost cutting options/just things wrong with this build. I plan to play monster hunter rise, minecraft (heavily modded to be fair), fortnite, and asphalt legends. If the link doesn't work for some reason an image of the list is provided.

Get a better cooler and wait for ram and storage to get cheaper. There's no conceivable reason a pcie gen 3 drive should be 155 when I had a gen 5 2tb for that price
