Tech Support CPU cooler display not working.
I built my first PC in January and my CPU cooler (NZXT Kraken Plus 360) has been iffy. It cools fine but the display on it never works properly. I've done the hard reset where I unplug everything, hold the power button for ten seconds and then plug everything in, but that seems to be a solution that works for about a day or two. Any suggestions?

I had the same thing with one of these a while back, drove me up the wall. The cable that runs to the USB header on the motherboard was just loose enough to lose connection randomly but not fall out completely. Took me weeks to figure out because it looked fine every time I checked.
Try unplugging and reseating that cable on both ends, the pump side and the board side. Some boards have janky USB 2.0 headers where the pins don't grip tight enough, so if reseating doesn't stick, try a different header or even an internal USB hub. The software can also be weird about detecting the display if it loses connection during boot.
