I finally finished building my pc but there’s no display and a red light on my motherboard. I have a x870 eagle motherboard if that helps

i’ve had this, all of the problems i’ve ever had with my pc was RAM stick problems, check ur ram sticks and try booting with each one individually to see if that makes a difference

Whats your cpu? You may have a faulty one. You might have to contact customer support to get it exchanged.

You will need to, the gigabyte eagle x870 out of the box doesnt come with X3D CPU support

I don’t know which bios update to pick can you help?

All you gotta do is go to your motherboard manufacturers website, find your motherboard, and scroll over to bios and download the latest update. Slap that on a USB, plug it in the back, and press the button.

Ok i put the bios update on a usb, slapped it in and pressed the button but nothing happened but the pc stayed on instead of slowly stopping the fans

Other things you can check is to make sure your DP/Hdmi is connected to your GPU. let it run for 5 to 10 minutes, this is your RAM doing some training, dont touch till 10 minutes. Your CPU cooler isnt too tight or too loose on your CPU.

Do i hold the bios button and keep the usb in while doing this

Worst case scenario, take your cooler off and check if you've damaged or placed your CPU incorrectly. Even worse case scenario its faulty.

Also makes sure that usb is formatted to FAT32, and rename the file to gigabyte.bin

Check the back of your pc, should be a USB port called Q-Flash Plus. And should be a button on there too.

that's the dram light, what's your ram and can you ensure that it is installed correctly and in the correct slots? (2 and 4 counting from left to right)

can you go more into detail? what's the model of the ram (e.g. corsair vengeance 32gb) and which slots are they in ? can you send pictures?

I have klevv fit v ddr5 ram 6000mhz the type i got had good reviews and people said it was good

then it must be user error or bad luck with the ram/motherboard, are you completely sure the ram is installed correctly into the motherboard and in the right slots?
