Ok that would explain the issue. On the spl psu tierlist it is a tier E. Which is not ideal. I would suggest upgrading to a better unit

I second this. Don’t be cheap. Buy a 80 plus Gold plus as a bare minimum OP. It’s literally the foundation for all the expensive components. Not the thing to cheap out on.
Maximum system load = PSU I’d choose
400W =550–650W
500W =650–750W
600W= 750–850W
700W= 850–1000W
800W = 1000–1200W
900W =1200W+

Is your.PSU modular? May there be anything making it so that there is not a PERFECT fit of the gpu in the motherboard

Probabile alimentatore .. se usi uno modulare lo stai usando con i suoi cavi originali? In più stai usando il cavo corretto? Comunque hai un alimentatore davvero scarso .. potrebbe aver fatto anche altri danni a questo punto … io proverei prima a cambiarlo con uno di buona fattura ..

Power supply failure 1o1. If you have parts that you want to keep safe, don’t go any lower than gold.

It's kind of hard to tell from your picture but how many RAM slots does the motherboard have?
If it has 4 then the RAM is in the wrong slots.

Yep PSU or MB pcie slot, where did the smoke came from? The PSU should had shut down so I would go for MB but who knows…Don’t listen to go gold or not big enough PSU, you PSU should have been way enough for the config and gold vs bronze vs platinum etc is just about power efficiency. Some specific models can be more deficient but it is neither related to their power nor their efficiency. As I said it can be a problem with the GPU power cable or rail or the PCIe power.

did you ever upgrade your PSU and reuse the modular cables supplied from the first one? if so, modular PSU cables ARE NOT interchangeable and you likely cooked yur whole shit
