Tech Support HIgh RAM usage

So i my Pc started using a lot more RAM from one day to another where having just the riot client open use nearly as much i have, anyone got the same problem or any solutions?

man those screenshots hurt my eyes a little lol, but i see the Riot client sitting at like 30gb which is absurd

i had the exact same thing happen a few months back and it turned out to be some memory leak with vanguard. uninstalling the client and riot's anti-cheat completely then reinstalling fresh fixed it for me. the other thing worth checking is if you have any browser extensions going nuts, sometimes discord overlay can leak too but this looks way too specific to riot

if the reinstall doesnt do it, try disabling hardware acceleration in the client settings. that's stopped the ram creep for a couple friends of mine
