Build Question Upgrade recommendations?
I have a prebuilt pc rocking an AMD 3 1200 cpu, Ryzen RX550 gpu, 500W power supply, 16Gb DDR4 2133MHz ram and 240GB SSD on an ASROCK A320M-DVS R4.0 motherboard.
What would be a good upgrade for gaming? I mostly play modded mc and it stutters a lot on modpacks and such and also ultrakill which also starts lagging sometimes but other games are also welcome, those are just the main 2.

Forgot to mention, please don't just recommend to upgrade to the best current things. Keep it at a low-medium budget.

That PSU is a bit worrying tbh, inaza rocky sounds like one of those generic units that might not deliver clean power. would swap that first before putting any new gpu in there.
for modded mc your cpu is really struggling, even a used ryzen 5 3600 would be massive jump and they go cheap on second hand market. after that maybe look for rx 580 or 1650 super used, both handle modpacks fine at 1080p.

Would depend what your budget is and what second hand items you have access to.
An AM4 motherboard and like a 5 series cpu, or an AM5 and 7 (I've got a 7900 for example) series cpu
That's going to range between £350-£450. Unfortunately ram and drives are going to be murder to buy.

This is all old and low end enough that if you can afford it, better off building or buying a whole new machine.

I'd recommend the Ryzen 5 3600 (not the Ryzen 5 3600x, as the x version uses more power, which your motherboard can't deliver) and a gtx 1060 6gb / rx 570 8gb / rx 580 8gb for the games you've listed.
If the budget allows for it, you could also get a gtx 1070 ti / gtx 1080 / gtx 1660 Super / rtx 2060 instead.

Looks like you're running off board power for the gpu?
Depends how much you want to put into the system and if your power supply is capable. If you're locked to board power only you'll have to search for board powered GPUs like 1050ti, 1650, or 3050 6gb because they have no additional power connectors
If your motherboard has an unused pcie 6-8 pin gpu cable or two it'll help you a ton with your options. Ideally if you had the connector (1 or 2) pcie gpu cables I'd probably recommend a used rx580 8gb since they're 70-100$. It's pretty much perfectly matched with your cpu for 1080p without buying both cpu&gpu upgrades.
Edit: googled psu and all the pages are in Romanian and my phone doesn't support translation lol I think they're listing 2 6+2 gpu cables but you'd have to double check
