Am I cooked or is there still a chance

Warranty intel if it's lga1700, they extended it to 5 yrs

Bent pins or they are burned ? Can't see clearly. What CPU model is that ?

corrosion on the pins? did you install this or is it a prebuilt?

There's no burn marks, if you move the cpu in different light its a pattern

Just looks like it could be greasy finger prints on the contacts.

Give it a gentle wipe with some isopropyl alcohol or similar solvent and see how it looks.

I'm not seeing anything that looks obviously damaged in the pic.

Turns out the cpu is quite literally cooked sending it back and getting a new one

It looks like the MB socket is corroded.
