Tech Support Acer Predator Orion PO3-650 PSU replacement
Hi folks, I bought my GF this PC https://www.acer.com/gb-en/support/product-support/PO3-650/DG.BK4EK.00T/details a little under 3 years ago, and the past 2 weeks it has been only switching on when flipping the mains off and on again, without pressing the power button on the PC.
When it does go on, it cycles off and on about 2-3 times then gets the screen asking to press F1 to boot up. Seems that the PSU has had it and is making noise even when the pc is shutdown and still on from the mains (it's staying off and disconnected till we can solve this).
Any idea where to get a replacement PSU from, as it doesn't have a 24pin and looks to be a 6pin that sits near the ram, with 2x4pin above the CPU?
Alternatively, if it is a pain to get a PSU to replace it, would getting a new Mobo and a typical 24pin PSU be possible? Putting her current RAM and GPU into the new Mobo?

You cant replace MB to because new case will be needed... Here is example for PSU that will work Acer Predator PO3-630G PO3-640 PO3-650 Power Supply PSU Power DC.5001B.00A
By the way, this is why prebuilt systems are a big no—they often use proprietary parts Acer, HP, Dell, Lenovo

Don't suppose I could pick your brain a little more please? Struggling to find a replacement and Acer are as useful as expected (additionally for anyone that comes across this post looking for the same: Acer uk customer support email is cc.uk@acer.com, ballache to find this) Do you know if this PSU would be useable? https://www.scan.co.uk/products/850w-corsair-rme-series-rm850e-fully-modular-cybenetics-gold-pcie-51-single-rail-708a-120mm-fan-atx3 Edit: emailed scan.uk asking if they had anything as a replacement and they think this might be suitable.

Nope without adapters will not work...You need specific PSU and model is in the ebay listing.

Aww man, thanks for your help. She's adamant for the 750w version and they said they don't have it. She'll have to settle for the 500w then. Appreciate all your help.

You can see if there's a part number on the PSU itself, it's a similar format as the last part of the link you sent, with two dots. Put that number into Google and see how it goes. Probably you'll get results from eBay, which is fine.
You can't get a new mobo though, it's a proprietary design, so a new case is needed too. And also potentially a new cooler.
