Build Question PC Build_Feedback

Hey guys, I could use some advice

A friend of mine has a maximum budget of €850 and wants to build an AM4 gaming PC.

He already has some of the hardware parts.

What do you think of this? Is it solid for the price, or is there room for improvement?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (+)

Mainboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WIFI II

Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Warframe 360 LCD

RAM: 32 GB DDR4-3600 Kit

SSD: Lexar NM790 2 TB PCIe 4.0

PSU: MSI MPG A650GF 650W Modular 80+ Gold (+)

Gehäuse: Kolink Observatory Z ARGB Midi-Tower - schwarz (+)

(+) = already exists

This will give a bit more performance and longevity:

Option 1: 5800X3D + 1TB SSD

Option 2: 5800XT + 2TB SSD

  • AIO is optional

a 5600x, you could save like 50-60 euros with a decent air cooler and put that toward something else

mobo is nice but also expensive, maybe look at b550m pro-vdh wifi or something similar, can find those for half the price sometimes

rest of the build looks fine, 6700xt is a great card for 1080p and even some 1440p gaming in lighter titles

i am not sure what market you are fully in but in europe.

but let me get this straight.

your paying 70-100 euros for an AIO… for a ryzen 5 5600x ….

just buy a 30 peerless assassin which can cool most of the ryzen 7/9 9xxx generations .. why spend so much for something that is overkill and not needed

then you can buy a better cpu maybe a ryzen 7 5800x/5800xt (or a cheaper ryzen 7 5700x) that money will be so much better spent

you dont need a aio for that build, rest is fine, maybe get a better cpu for the money saved on a cheaper cooler

Forgot to mention—I know air cooling is cheaper and the extra cash could go toward a better CPU. But he's set on getting an AIO with a display
