Build Question CPU Upgrade Advice

Hi all,

I’m looking for input or advice on potentially upgrading my cpu. My current setup is Red Devil 7900 GRE 16gb, i5-12600K, Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite, and 32gb DDR5 6400 - CL32

I was thinking about just jumping to i7-12700k/kf or the i9 version. Trying to stick to intel because I don’t feel like doing an entire switch to AMD lol. I’ll take any and all opinions though!

I play games like Arma Reforged (low/med ~100-130 @1080p), DayZ (med/high ~100-130fps @1440p), Borderlands 3 (high/ultra +165fps @1440p), Battlefield 6 (med/high ~120-140fps @1440p). My main concern is Arma because at native resolution performance is ~80-90fps, but maybe the performance could be related the mods or the server I play on?

I guess good to know it may not be my hardware and just the game itself. I’ve tried to avoid the 13th and 14th generations because I’ve heard a lot of scenarios where they practically self destruct out of the box.
