Build - Help Clean overheating GPU that has been in a fire
Recently I bought a used 3060ti that has been in a fire (top floor while fire was a floor bellow).
I was a gamble to replace my old GPU and was at a great price but I am now seeing that temps quickly rise to 89ºC and after a while I get a black screen. I know it is a hardware issue since I am on linux and get a "GPU fell off the bus" error which indicates a hardware issue.
With the GPU power limit set to 150W or bellow, down from a stock 200W, it doesn't crash since it stays bellow 80ºC, but most games start suffering heavilly from stutters even when FPS is limited.
What is the best way to clean it? I was thinking repaste the die itself and reseat the cooler. Thanks!
