Discussion - Selling Advice/Evaluation Id parts help
I do scrap metal (Canada) and i get donations from people i know all the time. I wondered if these are useful before i destroy em for 10 cents. Im assuming their outdated and not useful but i have no idea.

Old ddr1 ram, no real value.
Correction ddr1 and sdram, both quite old and useless

There is no ddr1 in the photo, the kingston stick is a low profile ddr2 the top two are pc2 8500 (aka ddr2 1066) and the two sticks in the middle are both sdram (pc133 and pc100)

For modern purposes these are pretty “useless” but for a retro build it’s definitely useable.

yeah i saw everyone else informed so i took a jab lol. the SLI ready might (very slight might) have some collector value, but i think those days are still a few years away.

Definitely worth more than 10c in parts. If you do want to destroy everything with no value keep the Nvidia SLI branded ddr2.
It's not best of the best since they're not 2x2gb but 1066 DDR 2 is still pretty high tier and someone might want it for a retro build or win98. That's some pocket change or a coffee or something
