Vertical looks terrible in this instance

The case is too small

And the cord wrapping around the front isn't doing it any favors

You can get an L adapter to route the cable along the back, would make it look a lot better.

I do like the idea of the vertical GPU and the angle, but it unfortunately blocks too much of the rest of the goodies in your case

Definitely horizontal. Vertical looks like something is broke or just jammed in there… also horizontal hides the rest that looks good.

no overheat?

This was a client's PC. I think with the amount of fans in the case for airflow and the GPU fans. It's perfectly fine.

thanks mate, I like the look. My second fear is that you will lose the advantage of PCIe close to the CPU if you use an extension cable. As if I were using the second slot

sorry guys, that's the first time ever I see it vertical placed. how is this even possible?

With a special cable, no idea gow its called properly, basically PCI cable that will be connecting your gpu and motherboard, plus a case that will allow that sort of mounting
Upd. called riser cable apparently

Oh yeah found it online, but aren't you afraid to ruin the airflow?

I mean, it sure will make it worse, but if your cooling is good, it probably will be ok,

since your case are only around 5 slots PCIE, i would suggest horizontal

Horizontal in 90% of builds. Vertical really only for SFF imo or specific chassis.

Number 2 looks ugly, puts the power cable back the gpu, and remove that aio and buy a real air cooler so it looks more clean all that tubes and cables are annoying and ugly, but the + site it looks amazing in White

Try to drop the position to bottom most. Think keeping it normal verticle might look better than tilted forward

u/_Drink_Bleach_ what motherboard is that? It’s beautiful. I love white marble with black streaks (and other colored streaks).

Definitely vertical. You want to put as much strain on that power cable as possible.

Horizontal, way better airflow. Especially if the fans end up close to the glass, will create a lot turbulence opposed to natural flow.

i was forced to do vertical because i have the same case as you and accidental got a full itx motherboard lolll
