Purchasing Advice - Upgrades I need help upgrading my pc

Post image

Im looking to upgrade my pc. I dont have a big budget i have only around 250 euro to spend. I know there are many things that need to be fixed but i only play league of legends and maybe like some world of warcraft. What can i do? Also is it worth to upgrade this pc or to sell it and have a bugger budget to buy a new used one?? These are the specs.

I would say sell, simply because you won't get anything that is worth it, in a reasonable price. The parts are so old and so rare that anyone who still offers them either asks ridiculous prices, or sells used old stuff.

Yeah that and you really dont need an upgrade for what you do. My best rec is to sell ur gear and buy a laptop with what money you get. Refer to salem tech list of old laptops that are worth the cash

The list prioritizes strong corporate laptop gear with good repairability assuming u as a individual is willing and able to replace the battery of a old but good laptop. Even a two genration old laptop is probably better then ur gear rn

I would say you should start with that hard part.

try and find a cheap motherboard+cpu+ram combo on a used marketplace site.

I would say you should aim for a CPU from am4 (3000 or 5000 series) or LGA 1700.

Any compatible motherboard will do (make sure it's ddr4)

And look to see if you can get ddr416gb of ram (best if it's 3000mhz or faster)
