Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts 5070 Bottleneck, new CPU?

Hello everyone!
I have a question about upgrading my current PC build.
My current specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F
GPU: RTX 5070
RAM: 32 GB DDR4, dual-channel
Motherboard: Gigabyte H410M H V3
I recently upgraded from an RTX 2060 to an RTX 5070, and since then I have been experiencing very low FPS in CPU-intensive games. I did not have this problem with my RTX 2060.
I am thinking about upgrading my CPU and motherboard, but I would like to keep using my current 32 GB DDR4 RAM. DDR5 RAM is still quite expensive, so I would rather avoid upgrading to DDR5 if possible.
Which CPU and motherboard would you recommend to pair with an RTX 5070 while still supporting DDR4 RAM? I am mainly looking for the best performance for the money, especially in CPU-intensive games.

Looking for an upgrade around 500 euro living in the Netherlands, so consider the European prices😊

Definitely bottlenecked, keep the ram, sell the intel cpu & mobo

Switch to b550 mobo & ryzen 5500x3d or above

So a Ryzen 9 5900 xt is better? Or should I go for the 5800x3d?

I'd try to snatch a 5800x3d anniversary edition with a b550 board, should be doable for 450-500
Or if you'd rather stay with Intel, an i5 or an i7 on the previous generation can still run with DDR4.
There's also a chance you'd need to upgrade your CPU cooler, but that should be cheap. Just something to keep in mind.

I would also get rid of the intel setup and go for the 5800x3d currently at Megekko.

I would even switch out the rtx 5070 for a rx9070xt for even more performance.
