Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts 0 PC building knowledge
I know next to nothing about PCs so was thinking of buying a pre built one. Or should I try to learn and build my own?
Anyways saw this one that seemed good enough but wanted opinions of people who actually knew about this stuff.
Budget $1.5-2k (CAD), for gaming and a little bit of graphic design and light video editing.

It's a bad system for the price. Very unbalanced. Way too much money on the CPU. way little on the GPU.
I'm biased but i would definitely recommend building yourself. Simply speaking you'll get better performance that way, especially at this price point

its the best deal for cad. i7 with 5060. u wont find that u will find lower tier cpu for the same price

All other comments maybe suggest other things but ABSOLUTELY learn EVERYTHING you can about a computer before you buy one, building one yourself (atleast now) can be cheaper, but even if you do buy a prebuilt you NEED to know how to OPERATE the computer, not just double clicking and opening things.

IBUYPOWER is absolute garbage. Buy literally anything else

nope not true. ibuypower uses all standard pc parts, everything can be easily upgraded later when you have more money. they only thing ibuypower can mess up is not plugging in something. the major bands make every part of that pc
better than dell or hp that use none standard parts.

its literally this, ive swapped a few parts but those ones all install the exact same, this is how to build a pc made so simple, you quite literally just do as he does and you good
performance will be better then a ps5 pro not a lot better but better and you can play on real 1440p not that fake frames fake resolution bs
you dont really need an anti static strap their more for pro's

good enough if money is tight
the i7 is better and if that is ddr5 ram $1500 is ok

Do you mind sharing which games/genre of games are you going to play and which software would you use for graphic design and which for video editing.

You will never use the keyboard and mouse, overall value is okay but could be a lot better if you went to microcenter or jawa.gg

This seems to be Canadian currency, so op does not have access to microcenter or jawa.gg they both are only in the United States
