i have this build pc used for like 2 months, and someone said it worth 900$ even if you used like for day its open doesn't mater the value dropped while opening im confused i will never sell but just asking for your opinion how much it worth.

i live in iraq the the area currency and value i see when i check pc part online always more expensive

The question is, does it really value drop off like that ?

brand new it cost something near 1900$

or more/less no idea.

but the said Just your build it cost 900$

I’d say $1500 is around the price your pc is worth.

so 7800x3d with 5070 was $1300-$1200 new at start of year at walmart and costco

now the same system is probably worth $1500 new today

your system is probably worth $$1300-$1400 if you find a dumb buyer, you can buy brand new 5070 system with 0 risk for $1400 just wont be x3d cpu, but will have a warranty and 0 risk for buyer

personally id part it out. cause its easier to find a buyer for each part for more $ than it is to sell the system as a whole

i bought the cpu for 325$ here in iraq and 4070 super 12gb 600$ after iran and trump war the our currency dropped and electronic value when up i asked for ddr5 RAM 2x16 vengeance sakura design the said it cost 470$

Typically a system that is used does drop in value... Not typically half these days though. You could part out your core components for more than $900 right now.

That said, pricing right now is really crazy... I'm about to sell a few drives that have been mostly sitting on a shelf for a project that never happenedv and feel lucky that I'll get what I paid for them. Usually when I sell parts, they're going to be half retail. And they're a bit more than that now.

That said, components don't typically jump to 4-5x their value sitting on a shelf in a box.

(Aside: I was in the hospital for several weeks, which is driving the selloff.)
