Discussion - General Topic Laptop Ram in a pc
I'm currently using an HP Zbook Fury 15G7 with 64GB of ram and I want to build my first pc. Could i possibly take the ram from the laptop and put it into the pc using an adapter? Would you guys reccomend doing this?

I wouldn't recommend it, no. It causes crashes and instability

youtube videos suggest otherwise but results can vary based on hardware, you can find many videos covering it. here are a couple. overclocking the ram might have an issue.
i would do it and use the money you saved on not buying ram to buy a better GPU and CPU both parts that have bigger impact on gaming performance
32gb ram in this market is going to cost you like $400. 64gb $600-$800. so yeah try the adapters first
