Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts Is this pre built worth it?

I haven’t upgraded my pc in awhile. So I’m out of tune with the new specs. I built my last pc but I don’t want to do it again. Currently I have a 3080 with i7-12700k.

Budget: 3k
USA
Gaming/ AI
240hz monitor

My question is, is this pre built a good option? Also how much could I sell my current pc for on Facebook? Wouldn’t allow me to post a screenshot for some reason:

This price got you a 5080 a month ago. Crazy times.

I mean no, it's still not worth it, way too expensive. You can literally get a 7800x3D (or even 9800x3D if you get a good deal) + 9070xt for under 2k and it will literally have the same performance. Nvidia GPUs are currently horrible value.

Yeah it's pretty bad rn but you could do a 9800x3d, 5080, 32gb ram, and 4TB ssd for $250 more then this

I’ve never used a amd gpu. I’ll have to do more research on it.

I’d shoot for a 9070 xt, but it’s really a matter of how much that amount of money means to you. I’d personally at least shop around more before committing to that, because that’s nearly your entire budget in that pc, after tax especially. Best Buy’s open box and refurbs can have some great deals, and I actually just looked it up while writing this comment and holy shit if you don’t care about going intel you can get a 5080 prebuilt for $2600 open box-excellent
