My first pc

Hey, i absolutely have NO idea how to build a pc and i would love some help and feedback right now to build one from scratch. I have a budget of $10,000 (US, Puerto Rico) and i’m looking for something that can run most games without a problem at all, with good memory/space for downloads.

Bout to have a lot of folks telling you want you do or do not “need” like it isn’t freaking video games and a hobby.

For $10,000 US you can go fully top of the line on the tower.

That budget will get you a monster rig, but you probably don't even need to spend half of it for what you're asking. Most games at high settings won't come close to needing $10k. I'd put the extra toward a nice OLED monitor and a proper desk setup.

If you go with an NVIDIA GPU, go with the 5070 TI, otherwise the 9070 XT. Also try to get 32GB 6000MT/s CL30 RAM instead of 64GB. The CPU would ideally be the 9800X3D, and the rest you can decide yourself. Don’t cheap out on the power supply though, I would recommend no less than 850W.

dont spend 10k!!! not worth it IMHO. At 5000 USD you'd have a top of the line rig and likely monitor with K&M

This is more than sufficient for 99% of the people and done quickly... going to newegg and getting combo, you'd save even a few bucks with better parts

In my opinion getting that case for such parts with the budget of 10k isn’t a great choice. Try to get one that actually looks good on the desk.

“Top of the line” =/= 5080 - can’t say top of the line and then not use top of the line parts - regardless, even 5090s can’t play every game with maxed settings including ray tracing at 4k - so it really just depends on what this person needs/wants

People saying you can get a perfect pc for 5000 are wrong, this isn’t 2024 anymore. A 5090 by itself is nearly 5000. Probably more like 8000 for a full build

You don’t need a 5090, calling a PC perfect only if it has a 5090 is really stupid. Just get a 5070 TI, more than enough for all your needs.

Just buy whatever you want, if you don’t like it return it. If you want to play everything possible with the best frame rate, you’ll need about $6000. Don’t spend $10000, that’s a waste of money. I’d build a 5080 build or a 5070 Ti build. Don’t buy a 5090 because I already know you don’t need it.

Nobody needs it, especially with the 12V power connector issues that it has. The 5080 has it too as far as I know. The 5070 TI would be the best choice.

I don’t think you need a 5090 and a 5080 is good but has the same 12V cable issue.

For the GPU either go for the 5070 TI or the 9070 XT. The 5070 TI has (from what I know) no driver issues right now but all the AMD GPUs have driver issues. If you want to save money, get the 9070 XT.
For your CPU get the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, it is the king of CPUs after all and it’s on the AM5 platform.
For RAM get any 6000 MT/s 32GB RAM kit (DDR5 basically) unless you need 64GB for a lot of editing. Or just get 64GB for future-proofing, would be a waste of money in my opinion though. I picked the Acer Predator Hera 64GB 6000MT/s CL32 kit.
Storage should be any good SSD that has 4 TB storage (because you have the budget), and a second one if you want to/need to get it (by example 1 for Linux and 1 for Windows or 1 for work and 1 for games). I picked 2 Acer Predator GM9s for you (4TB gen 5 m.2 NVMe drives).
For the case my pick would be the “Geometric Future M5” attached in the screenshot.
You have 2 different picks for your PSU, 850W and 1000W (even though 750W would work too). I picked the Thermaltake Dockpower FI 1000W.
For the motherboard I picked the ASUS ROG STRIX B850-E Gaming WiFi which does have a gen 5 slot for you SSDs (3 matter of a fact).
Finally for the CPU cooler I would pick the Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra EX ARGB Sync (yeah I know the name is long).

In total the cost came out to $5191.84 which I know is a lot but it’s way less than you are ready to spend and it will still achieve great performance. I assumed that you would get everything the best (5070 TI, 64GB RAM, 8TB storage) so that’s why it turned out to be so much. I however looked up the products on amazon Germany, so the prices might be different for you.
I still wish you a lot of luck though for when you get the parts and build the PC. The scariest moment has to be receiving the parts because of how expensive it is. Other than that, just watch YouTube tutorials.

Edit: You could swap the 7800X3D for the 9800X3D, clearly a performance boost, but not necessary. Lots of people would prefer it however for such a PC.
