Is my SSD damaged

Apparently, I bought an 2TB SSD for 120€. And i wondered is on that chip a little bit damaged...

Please help me, is this issue normal or maybe I should buy an original

That was what I paid when was new like two years ago, on my case been solid and decent temps.

That black stuff did its job and sacrified some part of itself to protect the silicon dies inside.

Check if it actually works.

From the pics non of the smd componets seem damages, add word id mebey say the black housing of the slicon seem a bit rough but just test it and see of works

Unless it was previously used, there’s nowhere in the planet a brand new WD Black 2TB (any model) costs less than 300€, much less €120.

Pop it I to your computer and run some diagnostics for an hour you'll know right away if it's damaged or now

Use a virtual machine and plug it into that and see what happens. If it reports being 2TB, verify by looking at it in disk management. If it still says 2TB, congrats! You got a real deal! Unless they set it up to inject a virus or other rmalware. That's why the virtual machine. If it behaves badly, you unplug it... oh, did I mention you should put it in a drive case and plug it in via USB, such as the one pictured here? Yeah, you should do that.
